Peter is an internationally experienced advisor and board director with a successful track record in building business and driving growth, as well as restructuring and turnarounds in the medical device industry. He is currently advising on medical technology investments and is a director of:

With a strong foundation in finance through his early career with Union Bank of Switzerland in Zurich and New York, he entered the medical device business after completing his MBA from Boston University with high honors. He has held senior executive positions, including having European and Canadian responsibilities, with Johnson & Johnson, Medtronic, Boehringer Mannheim AG and Euroderm AG. Peter has served on numerous boards of start-up companies, industry associations, and NGOs.
Fernand Badano is the Chief Executive Officer of APD. He has been the General Manager of Medtech SA since 2008, a company developing and marketing innovative surgical technology in Europe, North America and Asia. He has also served as Director of the Board of Medtech between 2013 and 2016. Between 2008 and 2010, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Valtronic Technologies, a Swiss company offering contract development and manufacturing services for companies in the medical technologies business. At Valtronic Technologies, he overlooked 600 employees in 4 subsidiaries located in Switzerland, United States, Morocco and Romania. Between 2003 and 2007, Fernand Badano was the General Manager and Director of the Board of AP Technologies, a 10 million Swiss franc company active in the contract development and manufacturing field for medical device companies. Between 1994 and 2002, he was Chief Technology Officer and General Manager of ISS SA, a French company developing and manufacturing surgical robotics technology for brain and Orthopaedics. Prior to joining ISS SA, he served during one year as a post-doc researcher at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne, Switzerland. Fernand Badano holds an Engineering degree in Electronics from Universidad Nacional de Rosario (Argentina) and a PhD degree from Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon (France).
Rémi Bonidal, 32, graduated from the National School of Electricity and Mechanics (ENSEM, Nancy, France) is the Chief Technology Officer of APD. In 2006, he started working as a research engineer at ArcelorMittal research center Mazières-lès-Metz in charge of automatic control of hot and cold rolling mills. Its activities led him to focus on signal processing and the automatic diagnosis (machine learning). International journal and patent publications were performed during this three year period. In 2009, as part of a collaboration between Elie Cartan Institute of Nancy (IECN, Nancy, France) and Lorraine laboratory for Computer Science and its Applications (LORIA, Nancy, France), he began a PhD on model selection for multi-class classification. His work allows him to publish in an international journal and to present them at conferences. He obtained in 2013 the degree of Doctor in Computer Science from the Henri Poincaré University (Nancy).
Benjamin Delcroix has been Market Access Director since May 2016. Levering his clinical experience, he successfully spent more than 8 years in the Medical Device Industry, both in Sales and Clinical Support positions. Prior to joining APD, he held a variety of roles with increasing levels of responsibility for Edwards Lifesciences, in the Critical Care Division. Its activities led him to be responsible for the market creation and launch of a new product in France, promoting continuous glucose monitoring solutions. He also served as Clinical Specialist and Sales Manager, with extensive focus on Hemodynamic Monitoring. Prior to that, he was Regional Sales Manager for Zimmer, in the Spine Division. Between 2002 and 2007, he worked as an Operating Theatre Nurse, in emergency and neurosurgery, at Grenoble University Hospital. Benjamin Delcroix holds a Nursing Care degree and received a master’s degree in business administration from EMLyon Business School.
Dominique Falcon is R&D engineer since September 2014. He is specialized in signal and image processing and onboards electronics. Dominique obtained an Engineering degree from Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon in 2014.
